With driving and racing games becoming so sophisticated and realistic, something just doesn't seem right about playing them with ordinary controllers. So much work goes into making driving simulators perfectly lifelike, why would you cheapen the experience by driving with thumb buttons and an analog stick? Pelican gets this and has answered with their Cobra TT Racing Wheel for the PS2 and Xbox. With its rubberized molded steering wheel and full sized accelerator and brake pedals, the Cobra TT promises to deliver the most accurate video game driving experience available.

Sounds great, but does it deliver? Like Fed Ex. The response and reactivity of the Cobra TT's exclusive traction control system is very intuitive and spot on accurate. The rumble effect is also a nice touch. It takes very little break in time to make the leap from standard controller to the wheel. The tension mount springs in the brake and gas pedals also give very realistic feedback. Don't like automatic transmissions? No problem, the Cobra TT also features quick access twin shifter paddles conveniently located on both sides of the column behind the wheel for easy upshifting and downshifting when driving stick.

A lot of work went into the design and layout of the Cobra TT, and it shows. You have a choice between comfortable lap mount or secure table top mount depending on your gaming setup. It also comes equipped with a standard D Pad and four-button layout in the center of the wheel for convenient menu navigation and option selection. Also present are start and select/back buttons depending on the system.

Bottom line is if you play racing or driving games on the PS2 or Xbox, then you must have Pelican's Cobra TT Racing Wheel. Without it you are missing out on multiple levels of the experience.
